Power Plant Engineering a very important core subject of Mechanical Engineering.
After the completion of this subject the student will be able to:

3. Justify the working of different components of diesel and gas turbine power plant.
4. Evaluate the working of different components of nuclear, hydro and various non-
conventional power plants.
5. Differentiate between different electrical system, instruments used in power plants and justify the role and adverse effects of pollution during power generation.
