Refrigeration and air conditioning a core subject of Mechanical Engineering. In this course students will be able to learn the application of Second Law of thermodynamics for achieving refrigeration. Different Refrigeration systems like Air Refrigeration, Vapour Compression Refrigeration and Vapour Absorption Refrigeration will be explained in details. Other refrigeration systems like Vortex refrigeration, stream jet refrigeration, cascade refrigeration systems, etc will also be briefed.
In Unit 4 Concepts of Air Conditioning systems, its type and design of air conditioning systems will also be explained.
